Thermal transport properties of nanoporous silicon with significant specific surface area

چکیده

This paper studies thermal transport in nanoporous silicon with a significant specific surface area. First, the equilibrium molecular dynamics approach was used to obtain dependence of conductivity on Then, modified phonon kinetic theory-based developed analyze conductivity. Two models were evaluate mean free path porous materials. The first model approximates only area, and second one investigates variation porosity peculiar case highly matrix. Both approximate data well for smaller values, while fails large porosities. matches simulations all considered ranges work illustrates that porosity/volume fraction composite materials is essential describing systems surface-to-volume fractions.
